Our goal is to reduce family breakdowns by providing compassionate, high-quality services that strengthen relationships, foster understanding, and create safe spaces for growth and healing. We are committed to building a service where every child and family thrives together.
What we do?
Ymestyn is a not-for-profit organisation that provides family contact and family support services, within South Wales. The service was founded by two qualified Social Workers with extensive experience in front line statutory Social Care teams. We are passionate in delivering child focused and family led services by utilising a strengths-based approach.
Ymestyn Family Hub will deliver a holistic concept of family support services, whilst implementing trauma informed practice to enable families to develop a trusting relationship with staff. The aim is to help families relax into a natural environment.
We offer bespoke family contact and child focused support packages to various localities including;
- Day Respite
- Personal Assistance Support (Direct Payments Accepted)
- Family Support for Local Authorities.

Robust, holistic Risk Assessments and Safety Plans are completed.
Reports are provided to parents and professionals on request. We can deliver our services in both English and Welsh language.

Lottery Fund
Ymestyn has received support from the National Lottery Community Fund to help families spend time together by offering 6 hours without charge. Terms and conditions apply. Please contact us for further information.
Welsh Government
Ymestyn Family Hub is Funded by Welsh Government to support separated families.
We provide services in the following areas:
